Business Matters has named 8allocate, an Estonian IT consulting and software engineering company, among ten AI agent development firms for 2026. The company runs delivery hubs across Central Europe, Eastern Europe and Latin America and builds bespoke AI-native tools, including industry-specific AI agents and multi-agent systems, for small and mid-sized businesses and large enterprises. Those systems are described as aligned with GDPR, DORA and the EU AI Act.

The list is framed by Anthropic’s 2026 State of AI Agents Report. More than half of the companies Anthropic surveyed, 57%, now deploy AI agents for multi-stage workflows, and 80% say their investments are already producing measurable economic returns.

The roundup presents AI agents that can complete multi-stage workflows without direct human oversight as a growing part of enterprise IT, and offers the ten firms as a starting point for organisations seeking an external partner. Other names on the list include Itransition, SumatoSoft, Trigent, HyperSense Software, SparxIT, Facet Interactive, Opinov8, Kyanon Digital and Kodexo Labs, spanning consulting, custom software and agentic systems for clients in many industries and regions.
