Vesta, an AI-native software startup focused on mortgage origination, has announced a $30 million funding round led by Conversion Capital.
The company builds software for lenders originating mortgages, a process that combines customer data, documentation and multiple operational checks. Vesta’s product focus places AI directly within a heavily regulated lending workflow rather than in a standalone productivity tool.
According to TechCrunch, the financing comes as lenders increasingly consider AI agents for mortgage operations. The investment gives Vesta additional capital to pursue that opportunity in a market where accuracy, traceability and workflow integration are central requirements.
For financial technology builders, the round underlines continued investor interest in sector-specific AI platforms. Mortgage origination offers a defined use case, but providers will need to show that automation can work reliably alongside lenders’ existing systems and compliance processes.
